What I do in my job:
In my current position with TSA, I have the great pleasure of reaching out to the general public and my internal stakeholders (airport directors and airline managers) to explain policy, answer questions, and promote my agency’s mission.
Coolest Thing about my Job:
Considering what I do, there are several aspects of my job that I think are “cool.” To name a few, I get to meet and interact with all kinds of interesting people, travel to places that I have never been, and explain to people what TSA is doing to help safeguard our nations transportation system.
Why I chose Federal Service?
One reason I chose the federal government is because I knew it provided me with excellent opportunities. I was the second employee hired for TSA in my state; I have really been able to ride the wave.
Most Important Issue the Nation is Facing:
Terrorism is the biggest threat that our nation faces. The terrorists are constantly finding and creating new and innovative ways to disrupt our economy and way of life. It is imperative that we remain vigilant against the forces of terror.
