Description: Student Career Experience Program (SCEP):
In this program, students alternate semesters or quarters of full-time work with full-time study. Work assignments are made individually, depending on your interests, abilities, and the needs of NGA. The student’s University must enter into an agreement with NGA and provide appropriate faculty and administrative support for the program. Student must work a minimum of 640 hours to complete the program.

Under SCEP, students are immediately eligible for Federal life insurance, health benefits, and retirement programs.

Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP):
In this program, students work part-time during summers and breaks while attending school. The assignments and schedule are determined by the student and NGA management.

Under the STEP, students are eligible for Federal life insurance, health benefits, or retirement benefits after one year of employment.
