Public Health Reports (PHR) Internship

Description: The intern will be expected to read new manuscripts and participate in the weekly meeting of the Editorial Committee to review the papers. The intern will assist the manuscript manager in finding appropriate peer reviewers for the papers that are accepted by the Editorial Committee. The intern will conduct library research and check references for the technical editors who are finalizing manuscripts for publication. The intern will manage the mailings of the Journal. The intern will monitor the latest public health news and write excerpts for the News and Notes Column for the Journal. Depending on the skills of the intern, one might be given greater responsibilities to develop new editorial content for the Journal, such as conducting interviews.
